“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1

Today is a new Day! What will the day gather as I wait for each blessing and opportunity that is in store for me? Will I receive the answers to the many prayers for a broken relationship with a family member, start of a new relationship, healing from an ongoing health problem or unexpected diagnosis? Will I see breakthrough in my financial hardships and how I will make the right decisions in where I should live? There are so many unexpected turns in life and waiting for what, when, and how things should happen leaves us full of worry, anxiety, and the fear of an unknown future. But God’s timing is always perfect, even when we don’t get it. Think of the seasons: winter feels long and cold but brings necessary rest, so spring can burst forth with new life. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, crafting something beautiful in your life exactly when it’s right.

After many circumstances where I have acted on my own time and derailed my God given purpose in life, I have learned to lean on him and cast all my cares on him. When I turn my cares of the world over to him and rest in his peace, I experience the move of God in my life. Life is so much more meaningful for me when I let go of all the anxiety and fear that tries rob me of joy, peace, and security of God my provider.

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” ~ Psalms 55: 22

I encourage you to read the full chapter of Ecclesiates 3 to help you receive a deeper understanding of the meaning of “ There is a Time for Everything”. Take time to nurture your faith and enjoy the little gifts of patience, prayer, and peace as you wait.

Prayer:

“Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the blessings you give me each day. I know you walk beside me as I go through this day. As I face the challenges of the world, I lay them before you so you can do your mighty and miraculous work in my life. Give me strength and wisdom to allow me to receive the answers of my prayers at your perfect timing. You know the future and what is always best for me. Thank you for your love and peace that gives me comfort to conquer my day. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
