Dr. Anders J. Leverton, M.D. FAAP

Dr. Anders J. Leverton, a board-certified pediatrician at TLC Pediatrics, brings a dynamic blend of clinical expertise and heart to his practice. Formerly an assistant professor and associate program director at Texas Tech Pediatrics, he has cultivated a well-rounded career caring for children across clinic, nursery, and inpatient settings. With a strong foundation in pediatric procedures and a passion for comprehensive care, Dr. Leverton believes every child deserves a healthcare home where both their physical and emotional well-being are nurtured.

champion for mental health and neurodiversity, he sees himself as an “all-access center” for his patients—whether it’s diagnosing strep throat, offering support for depression, or patching up playground tumbles with sutures and a smile. Known for his character-themed scrubs and penchant for getting down on the floor to play, Dr. Leverton transforms the doctor’s office into a space where joy and healing go hand in hand. He takes pride in making each visit less clinical and more magical, helping kids and parents feel at ease every step of the way.

Outside the exam room, Dr. Leverton is still very much a kid at heart. A former actor and lifelong lover of Halloween, he never misses a chance to show up in full costume. He plays guitar in a band, battles bad guys in video games, and keeps his Star Wars lightsaber close at hand. Whether he’s saving the galaxy or simply making a patient laugh, Dr. Leverton brings his full, vibrant self to every aspect of his life—and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
